Instructional Coaches

As part of the Department of Teaching and Learning the Instructional Coaches support our teachers in the classroom with implementing instructional practices, integrating programs in the learning process and supporting basic classroom management techniques.  Each building has a dedicated Instructional Coach.  There are also district-wide coaches that travel to all buildings to share their expertise.

As part of the Department of Teaching and Learning, Instructional Coaches play a vital role in supporting teachers within the classroom. Their key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the implementation of effective instructional practices
  • Helping to integrate educational programs into the learning process
  • Providing guidance on classroom management techniques

Each school building has a dedicated Instructional Coach, ensuring that teachers receive ongoing, personalized support. In addition, we have district-wide coaches who travel between buildings, sharing their specialized expertise and working collaboratively to enhance the overall instructional experience across the district.
