The Department of Buildings & Grounds is dedicated in maintaining safe, clean, and properly maintained schools that foster excellence in learning.
Department ResponsibilitiesBuildings & Grounds personnel play an essential role in the daily and long-term operations of Bellwood School District 88. They manage a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Custodial services
- General maintenance and repair
- Grounds keeping and landscape care
- Shipment and receiving of equipment, furniture, and other essential items within and between District 88 buildings
- Management of environmental quality to protect the safety of students, staff, and visitors and to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations
Building Rental
If you are looking to rent space in one of our buildings, please complete the Building Use and Rental Application and submit it to the building administrator of the school you are looking to utilize. All rentals must receive board approval. Applicants can refer to the School Board page for the meeting schedule, and keep this in mind when submitting your application.
