25-26 E-Learning Plan
In Bellwood School District 88 we aim to make sure learning never stops—even on days when school can’t be in session. Our E-Learning Plan allows students to continue learning from home on designated e-learning days instead of using emergency days.
How E-Learning Works:
Limited Use: E-learning days are used in place of emergency days, but cannot exceed the number of emergency days in the school calendar.
-
-
-
Approved Program: The plan is verified by the Regional Office of Education or Intermediate Service Center before it’s put into action.
-
Parent/Guardian Notification: Families will receive written or electronic notice at least 10 days before the public hearing about the plan.
-
-
Attend the Public Hearing:
The School Board will hold a public hearing to review the plan before it’s adopted or renewed. Your input is welcome!

Why It Matters:
E-learning ensures students stay on track with lessons and assignments, even during unexpected school closures. We encourage parents and guardians to attend the hearing, ask questions, and share their feedback.
