Student Dress Code
Bellwood School District 88 is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment. All students are expected to follow the District's dress code expectations. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 wear school uniforms, while students in Pre-Kindergarten and Early Childhood programs follow the District dress code but are not required to wear uniforms.
Dress Code Compliance
Students who arrive at school wearing clothing that does not meet District expectations will be required to change into school-provided attire, and parents or guardians may be contacted regarding dress code concerns.
Students wearing non-approved hoodies or outerwear may be asked to remove the item, and it may be held by the school until the end of the school day.
Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 should wear plain, solid-color polo shirts in their school's designated colors.
