This year's annual Hispanic Heritage Festival was held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Roosevelt Middle School. This event boasted amazing arts and crafts celebrating specific Latin countries throughout the foyer and hallway of Roosevelt.
There were traditional dance and music performances from local groups. We also sought out traditional food from local vendors that represented Mexico, Guatemala, and Ecuador. The community vendors represented offered resources to help connect and engage the entire community.
There were face painters, balloon artists and families came dressed in traditional Hispanic attire! We also had our school buses provide shuttles throughout the duration of the event.
Thank you to all the performers, vendors, community advocates and families that attended this event. We are excited for next year's event!
