At Bellwood, we appreciate our involved parents and community members. We also enjoy broadcasting our latest news and information here on our News page, where we will chronicle school activities and student achievements and publish announcements. On Saturday, August 20, 2022, Bellwood School District 88 will host our Annual Back2School Bash at the Stevenson Center at Memorial Park from noon to 4:00 p.m. This event will mark the official kick-off of the 2022–2023 school year. It is free and open to the community. There will be food and games, and we will distribute school supplies. Please see the Back2School Bash flyer below for more information, and we look forward to seeing you at this year's bash!
Welcome back to a new school year! The first day of school is August 29 for kindergarten through eighth grade, and the first day of school for Pre-K is September 6.
School supply lists are now available for the 2022–2023 school year. Make sure to have everything on your supply list to equip yourself for another great year.
Bellwood School District 88 is having summer remote learning for kindergarten through eighth grade. The sessions are:
- Live instruction session: Math and ELA instruction, parent information session on June 28 at 5:00 p.m.
- Summer Success Academy: July 5–28, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Live instruction session: Math and ELA, parent information session: July 26 at 5:00 p.m.
- Summer Bridge Academy: August 1–25, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
