A Message from Our Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I would like to take this time to introduce myself to the Grant Primary/Grant Elementary School Family. My name is Andrew H. Maisonneuve, and I will serve as your principal at Grant Primary/Grant Elementary School for the 2022–2023 school year. I am honored and privileged to be a part of such a great family and look forward to collaborating with you on a successful school year.

I received my bachelors of science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and my masters of art from Governors State University. In 2000, my educational career began at Midlothian School District 143 as a physical education teacher. In 2002, I served as a physical education teacher and moved to the assistant principal position within three years at Prairie Hills Elementary School District 144. Also, I served as a principal in Hazel Crest School District 152.5. Furthermore, I served as a principal and assistant superintendent in Calumet Park School District 132. Finally, I have served Bellwood School District 88 and the community since 2012.

I am excited to begin my tenth year of service at Bellwood School District 88. As we begin the 2022–2023 school year, I would like to express my gratitude to you for allowing the Grant Primary/Grant Elementary School faculty and staff to participate in the educational experience with your child(ren). Together we will provide an exceptional educational experience for your child(ren) and assist them in striving for success and excellence in the 2022–2023 school year. Finally, Grant Primary/Grant Elementary administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents will embody the 3E platform established by Superintendent Hansen.

As a parent myself, I know there will be questions, concerns, and praise throughout the school year. Please, do not hesitate to set an appointment or call my office to discuss your child’s success here at Grant Primary/Grant Elementary School. You can contact me by email, at (708) 410-3405, or at (708) 901-1476.
