The plan stresses preventative measures in addition to crisis intervention and response
plans. Each school is expected this year to work with parents and staff to:
  1. assess present efforts that promote a positive school climate (i.e. students sense of belonging;
  2. identify critical areas for potential review regarding student safety and security; and
  3. assess the appropriateness of this plan for addressing the needs of our students and
    communities.

This plan was developed in consideration of the guideline set forth by the U.S.
Department of Education. Practical Information for Crisis Planning: A Guide for
Schools and Communities.
